Veteran's Day Parade

My sisters and I decided to take our
kids to the Veterans Day Parade in Mesa.
Since there was no school that day
it was something fun to do with the kids!
To start the parade they had an
"old air force airplane"
fly right over heads three
different times... Blake thought that was
the coolest part of the parade!
Once the parade started there were
a lot of veterans riding in the
backs of convertibles... this got
a little old after like the
15th car driving slowly by at about 5mph!
My kids were ready to go home.
Then old tanks and army vehicle's went by,
and that sparked Blake's interest!
The kids loved all the marching bands!
... and of course the horses. Each horse
had its hoofs painted red, white, or blue
with a glitter flag painted on them!
Kenzie thought that was SO CUTE!
(she may try to ask Papa to paint
Snoopy's hoofs!)
Finally... something that caught Kenzie's attention...
the little girl dancers!!
Even though this parade DID NOT compare to
Gilbert Days Parade ;)
it was still fun to get out of the house and
honor all the vets for their service!
*especially our favorite vet, Papa!*

That's cute. So when are you signing Kenzie up for dance?
