This year for Thanksgiving we decided to drive up to
Bob and Jeanne's new home in Midway Utah.
I was NOT looking forward to the LONG drive but
it ended up not being too bad.
We arrived late Tuesday night and went straight to
bed so when the kids woke up the next morning they
were SO excited to see the bear all saddled up! ;)
Thursday we had our Thanksgiving dinner.
The kids loved "eating" the turkey leg! ;)

The four cousins that made the drive to Utah.
While we ate the babies played. These two are 5 months
apart... Brycen is getting ready to out grow Peyton!
Then the kids enjoyed playing the pass around game with
their gifts from Grandma and Grandpa.
McKenzie was SO excited to see the Tinkerbell
house she had been asking for!!
Blake too was so excited to get the Joker base to go with
his favorite Batman base that he always plays with!
The girls loved playing with Alexis' makeup set.
The one rule was they had to paint their fingernails
outside...
these pictures crack me up of two little AZ girls
FREEZING outside painting their nails! ;)
The next morning
{after an exciting Black Friday night for Ryan and I
at the Heber Walmart! } the dads and Bob took the little kids
fishing just down the street from their house.
When they returned they saw PRESENTS on the doorstep!
Santa had sent an Elf with some new jammies for the kids.
After reading the book Elf on a shelf it was time to find
out where the elf was hiding...
he was in the tree! ;)
Here is Blake telling Buddy his Christmas list.
(yep, we named him Buddy.)
Later that day Grandpa had some locals come
by!! Everyday they have deer and buck roam through
there neighborhood!!
The kids (and dads) were SO excited!! We sat and
watched them for quite a while... until Blake yelled,
"the buck is playing leapfrog with the dear!!"
Yep! Right there in their backyard! ;)
Grandma bought gingerbread houses for the
kids to decorate. So the big kids decorated one
and the little kids decorated one.
McKenzie and Landons finished gingerbread house.
Blake (who ate too much candy) and Alexis'
finished gingerbread house!

Our elf is also named Buddy.
I need to talk to you about the sledding in Park City... worth it or not?
